Ted Heyck began his career at the Alley Theater in his home town of Houston Texas under the direction of Nina Vance. He thereafter graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, from New York Law School with a Juris Doctor Degree (law degree), and trained at the HB Studio in New York, and the Drama Centre in London. 

                         He has practiced law (Prosecutor/Trial Attorney) as an Assistant District Attorney for Kings County (Brooklyn, New York) and a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles.

He has appeared in numerous TV shows, commercials, and plays, including multiple productions of Look Back in Anger (as both Cliff and Jimmy), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Big Daddy), Desire under the Elms (Eben), The Caretaker (Mick), The Importance of Being Earnest (Lane), The Hairy Ape (Yank), Botticelli (Wayne), A Man Is A Man (Gailey Gay), Sunset Boulevard (Jonesy) at the Hollywood Bowl, and Prospero in The Tempest.
